Very beautiful space, very well maintained. The houses are old, ok...but the furniture could be a little updated. The brown chaise long at Manel's house is useless, full of springs breaking the fabric. The fridge: please consider that the house is for 4 people, a week...every day we had to go to the village because the fridge is really small. We were very well received, the cleanliness is 5*. Fantastic views, excellent pool.

I have been staying for a week in Alembic, although the house is small, the private garden it has is spectacular, the surroundings are great, including the pool. The owners, including the assistant, are charming, always trying to make the stay pleasant (welcome cake and their green wine). If we weren't so far away we would surely repeat.

Casa de Abbades offers a heavenly stay among grapes, oranges, tangerines, kiwis and peaches. Hostess Madelena and her husband Luis have been taking care of their guests for about forty years so that this mansion can continue to exist in all its well-maintained glory. Ideal location in the Minho. You won't find much better.

We have been in the Alambique house, which is the smallest, but we have been very comfortable, the place is wonderful, the breakfast is great, the facilities are well-kept and the owners are very friendly. I recommend it

In the Casa de Abbades we have been spoiled for a good week by Madalena and Luis, the extremely hospitable owners of this traditional, well-kept house in the countryside on the outskirts of Gandra. Starting with the rich breakfast, served by the friendly Rosa in the breakfast room of the very spacious apartment, through informative advice on things to do in the near and far, to the complete, typically Portuguese Jantar, prepared by the always cheerful Alexandrina in the living room, nothing was left to be desired. The evenings by the open fire made even the rainy, cold days of the last week of May a pleasure. Thank you! We will come back with friends!Barbara and Harold
